atg UV Technology are the market leader for UV systems designed to treat potable drinking water for offshore crew water supplies. UV is now the disinfection technology of choice, providing a simple chemical free solution to protect against all known bacteria and harmful microorganisms, including chlorine resistant microorganisms such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia. Available as skid mounted, duty / standby solutions, atg UV Technology’s offshore UV drinking water packages are included as part of the on board water maker, typically installed following desalination by an RO package or Flash Evaporator.
All atg UV Technology UV systems fully meet and surpass the WHO guidelines for offshore potable drinking water, providing >4 log reduction (99.99%) of harmful microorganisms in a single pass. Selected UV models are fully certified to meet the requirements of NSF-55 (Class 1 and Class 2) potable drinking water installations and Norwegian NIPH (FHI Water Report 120) certified installations.
atg UV Technology have the largest range of offshore UV systems that meet the requirements of NiPH, Water Report 120 (previously 113) and the Statoil water specification TR2000 for the treatment of potable drinking water offshore in the Norwegian oil and gas sector. In addition, all atg UV Technology NiPH approved UV systems and skid packages meet the requirements of NORSOK, Statoil TR engineering and design specifications and if required, the Hazardous Area ATEX 94/9 EC Directives for ATEX Zones 1 & 2.

In accorance with the NiPH regulations and Water Report 120 guidence, all atg UV Technology UV systems and packages have independent 3rd party type certification to the US EPA UVDGM and full NiPH approval and certification from the Norwegian FHI departrment.
The atg UV range of NiPH certified UV systems can treat from 1.0 m3/hr to 788 m3/hr, providing a minimum UV dose of 40 mJ/cm2 RED at the regulation specified water quality of 30% T50 (79% UVT) to ensure the UV treatment solution remains effective even under poor quality bunkered water scenarios.
