Aggregated data
The white paper describes what is meant by aggregated data.
In the context of life cycle assessments aggregation means to trace back process data to elementary material flows and to compress the data into a single list of inputs and outputs.
Elementary flows are all substances, originating from environment (e.g. crude oil, minerals) and being emitted into the environment (e.g. CO2, NOx). Aggregated data describe single processes or an average of various equal processes.
