Great Jar Test Results for Winery Digester Effluent

The winery wastewater effluent from the Anaerobic Digester was tested with the Floccin 1115 for reduction in suspended solids.

The initial pH was measured at 6.2. A dosage of 0.5 and 0.8 grams/1,000 ml of wastewater were tested with the results as shown below. At a dosage of 0.5 gram/1,000, the suspended solids were reduced from 750 ppm to 74 ppm. The dosage of 0.8 grams/1,000 ml dropped the suspended solids from 750 ppm to less than 20 ppm. At a dosage of 0.5 gram/1,000 ml, full scale Floccin usage to treat 2 MGD (million gallons/day) would be 1,000 lbs.
