Analox ‘back at the lab again’ for Analytica
Members of the Analox team will attending one of the largest laboratory and analytical equipment shows in the world this year, hosting an exhibition stand in partnership with GAMBICA trade association.
The International trade fair occurs bi-annually and is being held in Munich from 10-13 April. Billed as the industry’s most important marketplace, it brings together scientists, entrepreneurs and users from around the world.
Visitors can expect an extensive range of products on show from more than 1200 exhibitors over an impressive 55,000m sq ft of exhibition space. The exhibition also hosts a program of seminars and conferences for delegates to attend delivering insights into the worlds of science and research. These forums allows attendees and speakers to participate in dialog about the latest developments an fascinating future projects.
We’ll be attending to demonstrate our range of laboratory products including the Ax60+ CO2 and O2 multi gas monitor and the O2NE+ an oxygen depletion monitor. It’s important to know what you need to be monitoring depending on what type of gas is being used in a laboratory environment, just a drop of 1.5% oxygen in a confined area can start to have effects on the human body.
If you need any guidance on what type of gas detection is needed for the gas you’re using then we have a helpful guide online which you can download here.
Analox have teamed up with Gambica for this event and will be situated in their area in Hall B, stand 534-3. The trade association represents more than 200 members in the industries of instrumentation, control, automation and laboratory technology within the UK.
Specific product and technical issues from across the industries are addressed through Association group meetings and activities open to all member companies. The association also helps to shape and create industry standards plus involvement in lobbying on behalf of the sectors represented.
Becca Dodds, Regional Sales Account Manager said, “We’ve exhibited at Analytica before and know the scale of the show, we certainly have our comfy shoes ready! It’s a hub of quality companies showcasing the latest equipment and services available in the laboratory sector and we’re looking forward to be able to show our gas detection monitors in the same arena.
“Raising the awareness of gas detection is also high on our agenda as many people don’t realise the effects that just a small leak of gas can have on the human body. Some end users have just never really put thought into the consequences, if something like a leak from a link in pipework occurs.
“We’ve seen an increase and focus on regulation regarding using gas in laboratories, for example guidelines were introduced in Italy in 2016, which state that a room which uses or stores nitrogen must have oxygen depletion sensors that continuously monitor for levels of oxygen. The guidelines were approved by the Italian National Transplant Centre, which is a technical body of the Ministry of Health and chaired by the President of the Italian National Institute of Health- so should be taken very seriously!”
The team from Analox will be on hand at the GAMBICA association area in Hall B to answer any questions regarding gas detection and how to stay safe when using different gases. Get in touch if you’d like to book a meeting with us, or just drop by our stand.
