The problem

Additionally to the basic level of pollution with malodorous pollutants, polluted air from a building with sludge presses showed temporarly extreme VOC-peak-loadings up to 1800 to 2000 mg/m³.

Solution of the problem

By a subsequent treatment in a two-step bio-trickling filter supported by LEVAPOR carrier for immobilisation of microorganisms, over 90% of the peaks have been eliminated.
