ABSTRACT

Materials commonly employed to address the surface defects and irregularities found in new or rehabilitative wastewater concrete construction include commercially available thin-patch cementitious resurfacers. This paper summarizes the results of an investigation to quantitatively assess bond strength of various commercially available thin-patch cementitious mortars. Specifically, the effects of curing and surface preparation on tensile strength when topcoating with a high-performance coating will be addressed.
