How to monitor air quality from 1 spot in 12 different towns ?

THE PROBLEM
How to identify and measure the BTEX pollution between two plants?

THE SOLUTION brought by CHROMATOTEC

  • With the airToxic PID system
  • A safety barrier has been set up between the both plants. Then a complete shelter with multiplexer and alarm pilot system has been installed to measure the polluting compounds : NOx , SO2, H2S and BTEX (our airToxic PID system).

RESULTS

  • Easy identification of the polluting plant thanks to the 4 sampling points of the multiplexer system
  • Either analysis of each stream
  • Or analysis of the 4 stream at once
  • Better follow up of the polluting compounds with the alarm pilot system
  • Internal calibration with permeation tube allows to analyse with a standard

A complete shelter for the measuring of SOx, NOx, particles and BTEX (our airToxic PID system ) has been installed for an ambient air monitoring application.
