Roager/Lundsby Bioenergi is located in the southern part of Denmark. It is a unique biogas plant as the input is a mixture of animal waste, energy crops and other kinds of biomass.

In order to achieve the desired biogas production the managers are very careful regarding schedules and planning of feed stock. By managing the substrates accurately the production of biogas is very well controlled and the outcome is a rich gas with high amounts of methane. Previously, in Denmark, biogas plants have been based mainly on animal waste, and Roager/Lundsby Bioenergi is in this sense a step towards a much more efficient and controlled production.

The plant consists of four digesters with a combined target flow of 1.200 m3/h biogas. BioGasclean has delivered one FRP tank for the desulphurization and the biological cleaning of H2S has proven utterly efficient. The outlet currently shows H2S values of 0-1 ppm.
