Catalytic Products International has partnered with a Gasification System Designer in the design and supply of a unique thermal oxidizer for use with a closed loop batch pyrolysis gasification system. The gasifier is engineered to create a clean combustible syngas from a broad spectrum of dissimilar carbonbased solids, liquids, and other feedstocks. The QUADRANT NR – SEVERE DUTY Thermal Oxidizer is designed to provide +99.99% removal of pollutants (ranging from VOC, HAP, CO, Chlorinated Organics, and Dioxin and Furan)

The first pilot system has been proven successful in a Municipal Solid Waste gasification system. In this system, 16.7 tons per day of waste is effectively reduced to ash byproducts. The syngas from the gasification process is fed to our QUADRANT NR – SEVERE DUTY Thermal Oxidizer where destruction of the pollutants is achieved. The waste heat from the oxidation process is sent to a downstream to an auxiliary electric generating system. The QUADRANT NR – SEVERE DUTY Thermal Oxidizer offers these features:
