In the month of June 2011 Anker Andersen A/S delivered their first Cash & Go reverse vending machine to Returpack AB in Sweden. The machine has now been installed in a waste management site run by Norrköping municipality, and the consumers are very satisfied with its performance.
The unique Cash & Go machine is for return of used beverage containers with deposit and compared to normal reverse vending machines it distinguishes itself by bulk-feeding of unsorted used beverage containers.
The ideal location of the Cash & Go is in waste management sites, recycling depots or near hypermarkets, where the consumers can easily bring large volumes of used beverage containers.

How works Cash & Go?
The used beverage containers are filled into a loading funnel, and subsequently they are automatically registered and sorted by our high-speed scanner unit ensuring a fast and reliable deposit refund.
The Cash & Go machine is operated by the consumer through a touch screen and a receipt printer guarantees a valid deposit receipt. Beverage containers without deposit are returned to the consumer by a return conveyor.
The Cash & Go requires a minimum of attention besides daily cleaning and is very easy to maintain. However, on-line help functions and support are naturally available, when there is a need for special attention.
