As part of a strategy to spread their existing reach, CDE have recently announced their presence at Extemin 2009 in Peru from 14th to 18th September 2009.

Extemin Peru is one of the most respected mining technology exhibitions in South America and CDE will be using the show to get the opportunity to meet with potential customers and distributors for their extensive equipment range in the region. CDE will be represented at the exhibition by their Sales Manager for South America, Carlos Guallart who comments “I have spent quite a lot of time in South America and know that there is definitely huge potential for the range of products that CDE offer.”

Over the last year various delegations from CDE have visited South America to assess the opportunity for their products and the attendance at Extemin 2009 presents the company with the first opportunity to meet with the large number of mining industry professionals from Peru and further afield that will be present at the exhibition. Speaking following a recent visit to Brazil, CDE Chairman Tony Convery said “With the success currently being enjoyed in our other export markets in Europe and The Middle East in particular, we are now looking to expand our reach into South America. We are very confident of the application for our products in the mining and construction industries in various countries within South America and look forward to further expanding the global coverage we currently enjoy.”

CDE will be present at Extemin 2009 through a partnership with Diemme Filtration, suppliers of high specification filter presses to many of CDE’s turnkey washing installations throughout the world. “We are very pleased that Diemme have agreed to host us on their stand at Extemin 2009 and I am very sure that this will help us both to generate future business opportunities within the region” explains Carlos Guallart.
