Gas Thermal Remediation (GTR™) was recently used to successfully remediate benzene and chlorobenzene impacts in China. This was the first time in situ thermal remediation was used in the history of Chinese remediation efforts. In partnership with JSDDBS, GEO used its Thermal Conductive Heating (TCH) to remove contaminants from soil and groundwater at 100 degrees Celsius. The final remediation goal was achieved within 60 days, including installation, heating time, and demobilization!
