China: short-term pessimism but long-term optimism
In May this year, the overriding mood at CRRA’s China International Recycling Conference - one of country’s premier recycling events - was somewhat more downbeat, not least because of the impact of the widespread economic slow-down. This article reviews some of the highlights of the event, including forecasts relating to the country’s scrap metal, recovered paper and plastics scrap markets.
