Christopher Golden’s fascination with lemurs first led him to Madagascar at the ripe old age of sixteen. Years later he’s still splitting time between the island nation and Boston where he serves as the director of the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Health & Ecosystems: Analysis of Linkages, or HEAL Program, and conducts research at the Harvard School of Public Health. National Geographic recently named him to their list of 2014 Emerging Explorers for his groundbreaking research at the intersection of human health and the environment.
