‘The building that was supplied and erected by Modulek was going to be a short term measure for classroom space, the building and your after sales is so good we are at this moment seeking planning to keep the building on a permanent basis, the staff using the class rooms do not want to go back into their old rooms which I might point out are brand new classrooms’

Danes Hill School is a co-educational preparatory school in Oxshott, Surrey.

The school required temporary teaching space whilst the existing classrooms were being refurbished.

Although temporary, the building was designed and built by Modulek with traditional finishes to give the building a permanent appearance, including brick clad exterior walls and timber finishes to contrast nicely. The building was completed and ready for occupation in just 6 weeks from delivery.

The new building consists of 10 classrooms, 2 reading rooms, bag stores, and pupil and staff toilet facilities, along with an office and staff room.
