For the Sosnovo Council in the province of Leningrad Oblast, a wastewater purification plant has been provided for a village of 2500 inhabitants. The installation was characterised by the high quality to which the purified water must conform. This quality, pertaining to both nitrogen and phosphate, is associated with territorial fishing areas. An extensive biological process, amongst other procedures, resulted in the inclusion of an additional filtration and UV unit. Both PureBlue StratoFlux++ and Lazur++ are fully utilised here during the effluent polishing stage. The installation is made up of a concrete basin and two containers coupled to each other. The containers are assembled to form a single unit. Support from our office to the operator on site is provided by remote control.
