Development and regional application of a photochemical oxidant dispersion/reactivity model
In this paper we use the urban airshed model IV, simultaneously including the dispersion and the tropospheric chemistry as described in version IV of the carbon bond (CB-IV). The modelling area covers northern France and a part of Belgium, with a total surface area of 15 000 km2. The wind field is calculated using the Meteo France ALADIN code and temperature vertical profiles from radiosoundings. The primary pollutant emission data are obtained from measurements in industrial sources and from a large amount of experimental data for mobile sources. The photolysis frequencies were calculated using two different spectroradiometers to measure the actinic flux. In this paper we described the ozone date for the episode on 13 May 1998.
