Electron-electron interaction effect and resistivity maximum in nanocrystalline and ordered superconducting γ-Mo2N
Nanocrystalline superconducting γ-Mo2N phase is prepared by a chemical route, which crystallises in cubic structure with the space group, Pm3m. The crystallite size is found to be 18 nm. It shows the superconducting to normal transition temperature at 3.8 K. The resistivity behaviour is investigated to understand the effects of disorder and non-stoichiometry. At lower temperature, it shows the resistivity minimum at 30 K, which is interpreted by the electron-electron interaction effect attributed to disorder. At higher temperature, a broad maximum in resistivity curve in the temperature range 265-275 K is found.
