Brown goods, grey goods, white goods – as much as 60,000 metric tons of electronic waste are processed each year at Sims Group’s state-ofthe-art plant in Eindhoven.

Analysis

Combining this high throughput with a high purity degree of reclaimed raw materials is the constant goal of Paul Verhappen, Senior Process Engineer of the plant. “We never stop optimizing the process in order to increase efficiency and improve quality.” One important milestone was implementing TITECH systems: “Without TITECH we wouldn‘t be able to achieve such pure fractions in such large quantities – at least not at such cost-effective terms.”

Benefits

The decision for TITECH was the result of intense on-site tests: “TITECH has a technical lead in sorting technology – TITECH machines yield the best results individually as well as when used in a system.” However, there is another important reason for choosing TITECH. “The people. To implement our ideas we need partners that can listen and think on our level. Flexibility, experience and knowledge of the industry are important.” Values that TITECH stands for – with solutions that are always focused on the customer’s needs.
