0
The paper is objectively focused to examine the assumptions underlying recently projected energy forecasts covering next half of the century and reassess world’s emerging energy order and energy equation in 2050, and beyond, in terms of energy portfolio and energy market restructuring world wide undergoing over past two decades. The whole debate about Sustainable Development and ongoing Environmental or Climatic Issues will derive a sustainable energy - portfolios, in socio-economic and environmental context. The technological breakthrough will lead for improved energy efficiency, reducing as well as capturing of GHG emissions’ while developing technologies for its geological sequestrations to minimize environmental or climatic impacts and economic and social imbalances on energy consumption profile. While the 20th century was the era of Carbon Economy, there is growing argument that 21st century will be the Hydrogen Economy, incorporating Energy Portfolio of Hydrogen, Nuclear and Renewable Energy Resources as well. The millennium has started with unprecedented optimism on Green Energy Use, resulting in enormous contributions of Gas, Solar & Wind Power, Renewable and nuclear produced Hydrogen, in the Global Energy Growth, on a scale never before witnessed.
