Ethanol rail car facilities case study

Due to the advanced true flame detection technology employed within the FDS range of flame detectors, they are capable of detecting ethanol fires. At Ethanol Rail Car terminals across the mid west of the United States we have a large install base of Micropack FDS301 Visual Flame Detectors.

With the detectors ability to record any fires it detects, as well as the ability to remotely view the live video feed, the technology is perfectly suited to the application.

We have found that users of the technology not only use the video feed for safety purposes, but also for the security of their facility.

Effectively, if the end user purchases our detection system, they are getting a safety system and a security system, for the price of one.
