European Investment Bank spent 30% in green energy projects in 2010

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has announced that loans to green energy projects rose to €19bn (£16bn) last year, representing a record 30% of its overall spends. This is just days after a report released by Germany's Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) found that concentrating investment around green projects would yield Europe’s GDP gains of €600bn and more than six million jobs...
