Although hydraulic systems are almost always fitted with inline filtration, this is often not sufficient to maintain contamination levels that are within the recommended values of sensitive components such as proportional valves and axial piston pumps.

Knowing this, Gordon Hill, site manager at EMR’s Bellshill facility made the decision to fit NTZ offline filtration to protect their three year old Lindemann shear.

“I have no hesitation at all in recommending NTZ.” Gordon said, “Since we’ve fitted it we’ve not seen any debris stuck in the pilot valves, and the cylinder seal life has been dramatically extended. There’s no doubt it’s doing its job.”
