Background – Mr. John Cocker operates Cocker Plumbing, located at 16380 288 Street, Homestead, Florida. John’s business includes service to commercial facilities, food facilities, apartment and residential systems. He routinely provides service that includes the maintenance of facility effluent lines, grease traps and absorption fields.

John noted that he was a past user of AQUACLEAN (Pro-Pump Label), and was retuning to our product based on the performance he had seen in various applications. John advised that he switched to a competitive supplier (Bio-One) based on a relationship with the salesmen, lower cost and information that the product would out perform AQUACLEAN.

Application Success – AQUACLEAN significantly reduces service time in system clean-out and pump-out of both septic tanks and grease traps, as well as assists in maintaining effluent flow into absorption fields of commercial operations where the systems are organically and hydraulically overloaded. The application of AQUACLEAN is at the time of pumping, and again if the system requires service.

Johns adds one quart of AQUACLEAN to each of the systems tanks every time he pumps the grease traps and septic tank. He advised that the use of AQUACLEAN controls or eliminates the hard surface grease on all tanks, and eliminates or reduces the build up of grease balls and grease chunks; he said that AQUACLEAN makes a significant difference in the systems conditions at the time of service.

One example is an eight-unit apartment complex in a low-income area outside Miami. The on-site wastewater system was inadequate to handle the waste as the systems equipment consists of only one 2000-gallon septic tank and 800 feet of absorption field.

To control the systems problems, John must pump the septic tank every three weeks to reduce surface solids and grease accumulations in the septic tank. AQUACLEAN treatment was begun to control and reduce the amount of solids and grease released by the Apartment Complex and its 40 inhabitants.

AQUACLEAN allowed John to maintain the wastewater system in working order. John applies two gallons of AQUACLEAN following each pump-out; resulting in a significant reduction of grease and solid accumulations in the septic tanks and improves the systems effluent drain field flow performance.

AQUACLEAN reduces grease and solids build up in the 2000-gallon septic tank, and more importantly has reduced the liquid effluent discharge indicating improvement is field flow capabilities.
