EA particulate filter can effectively eliminate tailpipe particulate emissions from diesel cars. Johnson Matthey’s work in this area has led to a new, third generation of catalysed diesel particulate filters that are highly durable and cost optimised. They have the potential of providing significant health benefits through elimination of particulate emissions into the environment, while enabling all foreseeable legislative compliance for particulates.
