A sample of flour/water was tested to look at the treatability of the Floccin to remove colloidal flour particles from flour hauling trucks in their wash out operations. The local municipality was considering charging for the solids in the wastewater, so a treatability was performed to look at the cost to treat as well as the cost to put in a pretreatment and water reuse system.

The water treated easily without pH adjustment (water was at 7.1 pH) and required a dosage of 8 lbs/1000 gallons.
