Mick George Limited in the UK, spotted the need for a waste shredder that would be used on greenwaste, tree roots and stumps for composting and volume reduction for their waste facility at Rushton. 'We also wanted the option of shredding tyres for drainage, waste for RDF, and wood products for Biomass', says Michael George, Operations Director.

Impurities in waste wood, eg. metal bolts, nails or other non-crushable items can cause downtimes or even damage many shredders and grinders. The robust-built TANA Shark, a slow-speed waste shredder maintains high capacities and uptimes with an easy, fast and safe access to remove any non-crushables.
