Greece wrestles with recycling progress

Greece has been a fully-fledged member of the European Union for more than a quarter of a century and adopted the Euro some six years ago. However, despite some progress, the country is languishing towards the bottom of Europe’s recycling league tables. The following article assesses Greece’s recycling performance, with particular focus
on the country’s growing steel production and scrap consumption.
