GTI to Exhibit at AWWA’s Water Quality Technology Conference
Geomembrane Technologies Inc. (GTI) is excited to be exhibiting at the Water Quality Technology Conference & Exposition, a highly-regarded water quality event hosted by the American Water Works Association (AWWA). The conference takes place November 15-19, 2015, in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, and GTI will be exhibiting at booth 308.
The Water Quality Technology Conference addresses pertinent subjects related to drinking water treatment. It brings water professionals together to network and learn more about the latest industry developments, as well as a chance to receive hands-on training through technical sessions, workshops, and facility tours.
GTI will be on-site to help attendees improve water quality and lower operational costs. By selecting the right cover to block sunlight at water treatment plants, operators can reduce algae growth, minimize evaporation, and lower the amount of disinfection chemicals required during treatment. This in turn decreases the formation of disinfectant by-products (DBPs), improving the taste and smell of water and yielding cost savings.
GTI’s structurally supported covers consist of a high-strength, retractable sheet of coated fabric tensioned across a low-profile aluminum arched frame that spans the tank opening. They are custom-designed for each client and retract easily so that plant operators have access to inspect and maintain tanks, basins, and tube settlers.
