Superheater is the heating surface that heats the saturated steam into the superheated steam in corresponding pressure.To improve the thermal efficiency of circle of the
steam power equipment,most of the industrial boilers have the superheater,its working condition not only decides the quality of the main steam,but also affects the normal operation of the industrial boilers,in the view of the important role the superheater played,we should learn how to protect it in the following aspects.
1.Control of the temperature of the tube wall and the steam
The temperature of the tube wall and the steam is the main basis for operating personnel to judge the heating conditions of the tubes of the superheater,the temperature should be allowable,if not,the superheater will be damaged.
2.Control of the temperature of exiting smoke of the furnace
Controlling the temperature of exiting smoke of the furnace is the limited way to protect the superheater.
3.Reducing the slagging and deposition of superheater
The deposition leads to the rise of the temperature of the tube walls,damages the normal and economic operation of the superheater.
4.Prevent the fouling in tubes
Too much fouling in tubes will affect the operation of thermal system,in the normal operation,we should strengthen the supervision of the quality of the feedwater and the steam,to maintain the stability of the water quality.
