IFFERNET, France: Ecoskid–Elimination of turbidity and microbiological retention
Courtesy of SUEZ Water Technologies and Solutions
The Iffernet plant is located in the southwest of Cahors. The four boreholes at Treboulou can together supply an available water flow of around 230 m3/hr. The main characteristic of the raw water is a highly variable turbidity: 2 to 190 NTU, sometimes as much as 300 NTU.
The station was built in two phases: first a skid in 2001, then an Ecoskid™ in 2006.
