Tecam Group is a specialist in environmental technology providing Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO) systems for VOC emissions treatment for the Industry. We have interviewed Mr. Bernat Sala, Tecam Group’s Sales Director, to learn more about the company’s performance during the first half of the year 2014.
Question (Q): Tell us about some important milestones occurred at Tecam Group during H1 2014.
Answer (A): We have had very positive results in this first semester of the year, and we have the certainty to have done things correctly. We have increased turnover in 15% in comparison to the same period last year. Moreover, the company has also increased the number of quotation requests sent to potential customers in 32% with respect to the previous year. Besides, Tecam Group started in H1 2014 its commercial operations in Santiago, Chile, to serve the South American market from a local perspective to promote and install Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers, Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizers or Zeolite Rotor-concentrators + RTO for VOC emissions treatment for the Industry.
Q: According to you, what is the key to success?
A: In my opinion, the key to success is preparation, setting priorities and goals, together with an action plan to achieve those goals, and continuously learning and improving. All that, together with a highly prepared team of professionals, who enjoy what they do, and the enthusiasm for the work well done is vital for the success of any company.
Q: What are Tecam Group’s target markets in this 2014?
A: In 2014, apart from the EU market, we are targeting other regions such as Russia, Middle East, Chile or Argentina. Our Representative Sales Offices in Moscow and in Santiago, Chile, are providing us very positive feedback of the interest and business locally, which is very important for the growth of the business.
Q: A vision for the future.
A: I see Tecam Group growing sustainably, gaining market share, and consolidating our brand and technology among the sector as an industry expert and a trustworthy partner.
