Lamor - leading the way in the Russian oil spill recovery market
A vast amount of Lamor oil spill response equipment recently delivered to St.Petersburg is a testament of Lamor’s strong position in the Russian market and the ability to successfully cooperate both with the Russian and Finnish governmental institutes in the environment protection sector. The deliveries were joint Finnish-Russian projects and were part of long-term cooperation work between the Governments of Russia and Finland on enhancing the Baltic Sea oil spill protection system. The Finnish authorities in these projects were represented by the Ministry of the Environment of Finland. The Baltic Salvage and Towage Company (BASU), which is a big governmental company and subsidiary of the Baltic Sea emergency unit of the Ministry of Transport, represented the Russian authorities. BASU (located in St.Petersburg) is in charge of oil spill response in the Baltic Sea.
