Refrigeration engineers can be forced to spend up to 50% of their time performing a task so unpleasant and mind-numbingly dull that you would by rights expect to see it on the work plan of a Victorian gutter snipe - namely sucking out and disposing of the filthy black gel that blocks refrigeration condensate drains (a substance commonly known as 'elephant snot').

Unfortunately this task cannot be ignored or delayed. The consequences are flooded shop floors; a situation which no store manager will allow to continue for too long.
