Pulsar non-contacting ultrasonic level measurement equipment copes even with the harshest and noisiest conditions, as this case study looking at stone crusher level measurement proves.

Pulsar supplied Level Star non-contacting ultrasonic level measurement to Croft quarry in Leicestershire to control stone level in choke-fed tertiary crushers.

The Level Star provides relay closures to control the automatic feed to the crusher, maintaining the optimum level in the crusher bowl to maximise production efficiency and consistency of stone size.

The combination of Level Star and dB3 transducer is robust, reliable and cost-effective and copes well with the high levels of acoustic and electrical noise present on the plant.
