Managing technology as a strategic asset
For firms facing rapid advances in technology and intense global competition, the integration of technology into strategic thinking and decision making is essential for growth — and even for survival. It is in this context that this paper addresses the managerial challenges and choices presented to firms attempting to employ technology as a strategic asset.
