Mark Zuckerberg lists his five favorite things about environment, health & safety, quality & security!
To HSE or not to SHE, that EHS the question.
I am going to be frank with you, Dear Audience: the title to this piece is clickbait. No Zuckerbergs were harmed in the writing of this blog.
Actually, to continue in this brutally honest vein - I am writing this article to make as much reference as possible to all the different acronyms that are used by different organizations and individuals that work in the realm of environment, health and safety – and may also have responsibilities around sustainability, security and even quality management. The goal of this is merely to make sure that when people search SHE, HSE, EHS, QEHS, HSEQ, QSHE, and even HSSEQ, QHSES, etc, etc (you get the picture), they will find our website (which talks mostly about EHS, rather than SHE or HSE).
That’s right, if you work in EHS (environment, health and safety) you may, without realizing also be a SHE (safety, health, environment) or even an HSE (health, safety environment) professional! If this is the case, you should tell your boss and ask for a raise – you are doing the work of three people!
On a more serious note, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts via this quick survey. [it literally takes two minutes, we promise!].
