This month we thought we’d introduce you to one of our distributors so you can read about their experiences of working with Partech. We’ve interviewed Graham Smith of Fluidquip Australia to tell you why he chose to become a Partech water instrument distributor…
How long have you been associated with Partech?
In one form or another, we the employees of Fluidquip Australia, have represented Partech here in Australia since the early 1990’s. Call it what you will—an antipodean reverence or the ‘mother country’, or possibly a desire to prove to the Brits that us Aussies can mix it with the best of ‘em. Either way the relationship between Fluidquip and Partech has gone from strength to strength over the decades and only continues to grow to this day.
What inspired you to work with Partech?
For us, the unique nature of the Partech product range offers a point of difference from our competitors. Whether it be the self-cleaning Turbi-Tech, the 715 sludge blanket detector or the handy and portable 740 suspended solids analyser, Partech offers both quality and functionality.
What do you think are the added benefits to working with Partech?
We really get the support we need! Last year, David Wilson, Partech’s Sales Manager joined Fluidquip at Australia’s largest Water Industry Operator’s conference. Together, we exhibited a really interactive and suitably impressive exhibition stand that saw Fluidquip Australia win the title of ‘Best Trade Display’. We were thrilled as we were competing against nearly 200 exhibitors! We’re hoping to win another title this year as David is coming back in September to do it all again!
Why do you think Fluidquip and Partech work so well together?
No doubt about it—it’s our desire to deliver quality products and services that binds us Aussies and the Poms together. Oh, and our love of cricket of course!
