Natural environment and business reality: what encourages companies to take an action?
The present study examines the environment as a social issue that is conditioned by economic activities in a transcendental way. In this sense, maintaining a continued economic development would only be possible with the active participation of its main agents: the business companies. This study aims at revising the most important factors in the environmental compromise of companies and the most relevant studies on this topic found in business literature.
