Adding NEUTHOX to the water supply will improve weight gains, and lower the mortality rate. NEUTHOX is proven to:

  • Reduce bacteria levels in the local water supply
  • Remove biofilm in the water system
  • Reduce animal self-contamination of drinking water
  • Be an eco-friendly, non-toxic and economical solution

Neuthox - increasing growth rates
Improving the quality of animal drinking water is one of the key elements when working to increase animal health, and maximize revenue. By reducing the bacteria level in the drinking water, it is possible to:

  • Reduce diarrhea and improve food absorption
  • Achieve 2-5 % savings on feed
  • Reduce medical treatments and the use of antibiotics
  • Lower the mortality rate by 2-5 %
  • Improve the hygiene and animal health

Combined, the elements above will contribute to an increase in the total revenue, and great savings.

In many areas of the world, water from the public supply contains a critical level of bacteria du to an ineffective or poor purification process at the processing plant. Adding NEUTHOX to the local water supply, the tap water is purified, and the bacteria level is significantly reduced before the water is distributed to the animals.

The DCW system, and purification process is based on the principle of electrolysis and oxidation, and uses salt and electricity to remove dangerous bacteria from the water.

This makes NEUTHOX:

  • Eco-friendly
  • Non-toxic
  • Economical in use (1000 L for € 5)

Biofilm - nurturing bacteria growth
Biofilm is a slimy coating which - over time - is deposited on the inside of the piping, where it nurtures microorganisms and bacterial growth. The removal of biofilm is therefore particularly important when wanting to improve the water quality.

NEUTHOX will not only remove the existing biofilm in the piping, it will also inhibit future occurence of biofilm, and remove any dangerous bacteria in the water. Even though NEUTHOX is a strong disinfective liquid, which is higly effective in eliminating unwanted bacteria and removing biofilm, the liquid is entirely harmless to animals and people.

Animal self-contamination of drinking water happens when the snouts, beaks or muzzles have been in contact with the dirty floor, and carry the bacteria from the floor to the drinking system. When adding NEUTHOX to the water it is also possible to reduce the animals’ self-contamination of the drinking water, due to the disinfectant characteristics of NEUTHOX.

Benefits of Neuthox in agriculture
Chicken farm increases revenue by €96.000

Due to a high bacteria level in the public water supply, a French chicken farm was affected by problems with diarrhea and poor food absorption. After implementing a DCW generator, and adding NEUTHOX to the animals’drinking water, there was an immediate reduction of bacteria in the water. As a result of the higher quality of the drinking water, the chicken farm experienced a 2 % drop in the mortality rate, and a 5 % saving on animal feed.

With 4 stables of 40.000 chickens each, the achieved savings and increase in revenue has been significant.

Healthier and more productive cattle
The daily water consumption of cows on a farm in Denmark, had decreased to a point, where it affected the milk production and lead to a poor milk production. In addition, the fur of the cows looked less groomed, and several cases of illness were detected.
By adding NEUTHOX to the water, the situation changed significantly within only 3 months.

There was an undeniable improvement in the cows’ cell count, welfare, stool, fur, heat and pregnancy, and after the initial trial period of three months, the farmer decided to invest in two DCW generators - one for each of his herds.

Dosing Levels and Methods
It is recommended that the dosis is flow proportional, and experience has shown that a 3% dose (6 ppm pH 8) is the recommended value for both pigs, cattle and poultry.

Water installations for animals with NEUTHOX dosing

It is recommended that the dosis is flow proportional, and experience has shown that a 3% dose (6 ppm pH 8) is the recommended value for both pigs, cattle and poultry.

If necessary, it is possible to obtain water with a lower pH value, e.g. in order to generate more hypochlorous acid to improve animal stomach function, it is recommended to lower the NEUTHOX dose to 2 %.
