Analyzing the total organic carbon (TOC) content of industrial wastewater, process influent and effluent water, and environmental water samples can be very challenging. These aggressive sample matrices often clog or damage TOC analyzers that use the combustion method. This can result in expensive preventive maintenance and excessive non-regenerative waste.

To address these critical issues, GE Analytical Instruments developed the Sievers InnovOx Laboratory TOC Analyzer to be efficient and environmentally sound (green) using Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO). Compared to the legacy combustion technology, the Sievers InnovOx maximizes instrument uptime, minimizes cost of ownership, and significantly reduces the amount of waste generated per analysis.
