NILU Polska awarded as an innovative Polish company

NILU Polska, a subsidiary of Norwegian Institute for Air Research (NILU) in Poland, has been awarded with 2nd place in ranking of the most innovative Polish companies in Silesia region. NILU Polska with director Robert Piatek was honoured with the Innovation Certificate 2007.

- “NILU is very proud of our colleagues in NILU Polska having received this award,” says NILU’s director Gunnar Jordfald, “and I will like to express that the price is an inspiration for us all.”

NILU Polska Ltd. was established in December 2001 as a subsidiary in Poland. The director of the company is dr. Robert Piatek. The main mission of NILU Polska is to assist stakeholders, including users of the environmental resources, environmental managers and planners, research scientists and academia, as well as the general public, working to improve the environment in their effort to reduce environmental impacts in the most effective and economic manner.

The Innovation Certificate 2007 is part of the all-Poland programme of research on innovation in Polish economy, conducted by the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, BRE Bank, Gazeta Prawna, a leading Polish business daily, and Dun & Brandstreet.
