Noise can be termed as unwanted/undesirable sound, because of its adverse effects in our living and working environment .Unfortunately a large number of people work in Industrial plants, where the Noise level found consistently high, and the exposure takes place regularly for about 8-10 hours a day, year after year, the effects cease to be temporary & even permanent hearing loss, rather than leading to significant adverse physiological effects. Studies on human working in Noisy Environments have reported an increased incidence of heart disease, accident at work, inefficiency, feeling of annoyance, irritation, speech & work interference, sleep disturbance, cancer, headache, tension, digestive, respiratory, nervous problems and so many psychological effects on human system.
