Non-linear analysis of an all-wheel drive vehicle seat due to driveline vibration for driver comfort
In this paper the driver seat vibration, transferring from driveline, of an all-wheel drive vehicle model is presented in a non-linear framework. The model consists of the vehicle driveline system, wheels and tyres, suspension system, and a driver seat. All springs and dampers are considered non-linear. An external force as a sudden impact on any of the all-wheel drive vehicle wheels is used to analyse the vibrations of the seat to obtain information on the driver comfort. The dynamic behaviour of the driver seat, and the unsprung and sprung masses are illustrated using parameters dependent phase portraits.
