Industrial Waste Water Treatment Success Stories
Oil Field Produce Water, Waste Water Treatment
Produce Water, Oil Field Production 2
The US EPA is developing treatment requirements for the proper disposal of Oil Produce water generated from the oil / water from oil wells. The legislation is under review and is calendered to pass in October 2009.
The current methods are to haul it off, treat for down well reuse, and treat for land disposal.
The first step after the oil is separated from the water is to remove the residual oil/suspended solids followed by reuse or filtration and membrane technologies.
The sample below was treated with 500 ppm of Floccin 1105 and the water clarity meets their permitted requirements for mixture (dilution) with irrigation water.
