Problem

This plant used a belt press to dewater their waste activated sludge from their membrane bioreactor. However the equipment frequently caused
clogs and the operator needed to replace the filter cloth once every 3 months. The labor and cost for the replacement of the filter cloth caused problems for the operator.

Client's voice

We used to replace the filter cloth 5 times in 20 years, however the Volute Dewatering Press requires its overhaul only once in the same term. A belt press performs pretty well soon after the replacement of the filter cloth, however the longer it works, the worse the dewatering performance becomes, causing more clogs. In this respect, Volute Dewatering Press does not cause clogs and has no filter cloth to be replaced. We are greatly thankful for the improvement of our working environment with no more annoying replacement of the filter cloth and more time to be spent on more valuable works.
