The Platinum is a metal extremely resistant to corrosion, high temperatures and attacks of acids. It's high resistance allows platinum and it's alloys to offer to the industry area a wide range of applications.

It's used in the chemical, electrics, textile, glass, oil and mining industries, besides having it's alloys used in the manufacturing of cirurgic, optic and jewelry instruments.

The platinum/gold materials, as Crucibles, Molds, Dishes, etc, are used in the chemical analysis, due to it's high mechanical resistance to heating (high melting point) and high resistance to attack of chemical products. Parts produced in Platinum alloy have great stability after a long period of heating.
