The Kitsap SEED project is not your typical business park. On its face this project will house 120 - 2,000 or more persons engaged in new energy technology development and production, within a 75 acre cutting-edge technology campus. But it goes much further. The heart of the project comes from its values; SEED is a vehicle for moving businesses, people and communities ahead, into a more sustainable future. In particular, the sustainable design criteria for this project will address water, energy, and material through the site, the environmental and social needs of people on the site, and ecological function. Water is addressed through the concept of “Zero Budget Comprehensive Water Management”. This paper will expand on the concepts behind the water management system.

Sustainability, Bioretention, Low Impact Design, Membranes, Reuse.
