The Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) Team Dose Reconstruction Project assists the US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health by reconstructing the radiation doses received by workers at various Department of Energy and Atomic Weapons Employer facilities. This work involves personal interviews with claimants, retrieval and validation of individual monitoring data, documentation of exposure conditions in site profile documents, and preparation of individual dose reconstruction reports.

ORAU have developed a stand-alone sophisticated exposure assessment software product, and needed to incorporate uncertainty into their projections with a variety of probability distributions and other statistical tools available within ModelRisk.

Vose facilitated access to these ModelRisk tools by creating custom thread-safe dll files that could be accessed from their software.
