System Requirements
mcs appointed as design and build contractor for the new Honda dealership in Manchester required a rainwater harvesting system to meet the employers requirements. With daily vehicle valeting onsite, re-use of rainwater for car washing reduces mainswater consumption. The 1,500m² roof area can yield up to 850,000L rainwater per year saving up to £1,700 per annum in reduced mainswater charges. Employed on a supply and install basis Ecozi shipped a 30,000L tank with external filter to site early in the project and then installed pumps controls, mainswater backup and fine particle filtration.
